J.J. Killeen Torches Harbor Lakes for The Fall Classic Victory

jj killeen Champion

Sunday night 3 inches of rain rolled thru Granbury, TX which put us on lift, clean and place and required that all bunkers be played as ground under repair for both days. The course was in great shape and relatively dry considering the amount of rain. Day 1 saw the leaderboard bunched up with 4 players at 4 over or better. David Studebaker and J.J. Killeen set the pace with a 72 from Studebaker and Killeen posted a solid 68. Day 2 was absolutely perfect weather, it even got a little hot out there. Monte Billy continues to improve at each event and posted 2 solid rounds to finish in 4th place at 150. Mike Flanagan has established himself as a contender at each event posted a 2 day total of 149 for 3rd. David Studebaker was a model of consistency with a pair 72's that was good for 2nd place. The victory was a runaway for former TCU standout and Conference USA Player of the Year J.J. Killeen who posted a 2-day total of 10 under par with a second round score of 66. Congratulations to J.J. and everyone else that took advantage of the guaranteed purse and the great layout at Harbor Lakes.
