Steve Gilley of Newnan, GA holds true to form capturing the 2006 NGT opening event at the Orchard Hills Golf club. Steve fired an impressive 69 in the blustery winds that were beckoning the spring season to arrive. Runner-up, Danny Nungessor, had it to 4 under par through 16 holes posting a final score of 1 under, 71. John Miles of Fayetteville, GA (our lone amateur) finished strong posting even par on the back nine to finish with a 75.
