Kevin Taylor of Winston Salem might have been the only person hotter than the temprature on Monday. His 65 was the lowest score of the 2006 NGT season. Kevin made the turn in 6 under 30. His steady play on the back nine except for a bogey on 16 and 18 was good enough to outlast James Stanofski who had an 69. Scott Patnode, Blair Smith, and Will Morgan shot 2 under par 70's to tie for 3rd place.
