Dave Hill a Teaching Professional at Ridgeview Ranch in Plano, Texas took the early lead at Twin Creeks. With a couple of early birdies he made the turn at 2 under which was good enough for a two stroke lead over Derek Abel and Mike Flanagan. Derek Abel pulled to within 1 of Dave on the back nine, but Dave was able to hold him off for the victory at the 1st Lone Star Series event of the season. Dave will be one of the players to beat at the next event on August 21st which is at Ridgeview Ranch, his home course. Congratulations to Dave Hill!
